I don't really feel guilty :-)

I have to admit that I feel a certain amount of guilt every time someone mentions that they miss my blog posts, and I do miss keeping up on what everyone else is doing on LJ. When I have a free moment I do try to catch up, but I know I'm missing all kinds of momentous events.

Maybe people think I've fallen off the edge of the earth, or worse, that I've given up on training my dogs! Oh, dear! So it occurs to me that I should post, if for no other reason than to let people know that I'm still alive, still training my dogs, still teaching, and still competing in agility.

I was sick last week, so instead of running Toggle in class, Jessica ran her, and it was great fun to get to watch someone else work her. I think she did pretty well, although I still need to work on getting her to turn more efficiently and not get all loopy. She is entered in two trials in March, so I will have a chance to see how she's doing in competition now.



So, the thing is, as much as I enjoy blogging, the reason I don't have the time anymore is that every evening, instead of sitting at the computer like I used to, I'm sitting in front of this -



with my significant other, surrounded by dogs chewing bones, just enjoying quiet time, talking, watching the dogs interact and all that kind of jazz. And I wouldn't give that up for the world...
