class and practice and jul
Julian arrived home from Paris safe and sound and just a little jet-lagged. We were all happy to see him, of course, but Boing! was beside herself with joy. She's trying to spend as much time as possible with him -

Boing! got a break from her dog walk training while I was out of town, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but her performance hadn't deteriorated at all. I moved the tape about 6 inches further down the contact zone, and she had a 77% success rate, with 97% within the previous mark, and 100% well in the yellow.
She also did some nice work on a frames at K9 -
Class was great last night, we were outdoors for a change and the weather was actually perfect. We ran a JWW course that had some challenges including a bit where the only really practical way of handling the weave poles was at a distance so that you could get to the next bit in time. Boing! had no trouble with the distance work and over all did great. While working on individual sequences, I mis-handled one turn resulting in Boing! doing some amazingly athletic turns and lead changes while trying to figure out what I wanted.
Here's what it was supposed to look like -
And the entire course -
